Zippy, bright and properly thirst-quenching, this is Chenin (with a little Chardonnay in the passenger seat) doing that Swartland thing where citrus peel, stone fruit and a lightly savoury edge all get along beautifully. It’s got lift and energy, but also a gentle, chalky texture. 

Intellego is all about that equilibrium between nature and human touch, with organically farmed fruit and a minimal-intervention approach that keeps the wines feeling alive rather than over-managed. “Harry” is a fictional vineyard local on the label, inspired by the brightly coloured washing you’ll see strung along farm fences in the Swartland, which is charming, and also a pretty good metaphor for how joyful this wine feels
