Pinot Pinot 2023 lands in that irresistible middle ground between light-red and rosé, two parts Pinot Gris and one part Pinot Noir, de-stemmed with a brief maceration before stainless steel. Joyfully fruited and easygoing, think raspberry, apple skin and soft florals with refreshing crunch and fine detail running through it. There is even a little mineral smokiness that almost hints at mezcal! The ultimate blouge!

Sophie Evans normally works with her own fruit, but when tiny yields met exceptional organic Pinot from Leicestershire (via grower Matt Gregory) she said yes. Hand processing, native yeasts, minimal sulphur and a gentle touch in the cellar keep the wine honest and vivid, a clear expression of her low-intervention instinct and rising reputation in English natural wine.
