Nellamiaterra Rosso

Juicy, generous and wonderfully unfussy, this is proper everyday Puglian red. Cherry and wild berries lead the way, with darker plum underneath and a little violet lift on the nose. It has plenty of fruit and body, but soft tannins and fresh acidity stop it feeling heavy, making it exactly the sort of bottle you want with pasta, sausages, roast veg or a plate of charcuterie. 

Antica Enotria is the Di Tuccio family estate in Cerignola, northern Puglia, founded in the early 1990s when Raffaele Di Tuccio began farming without synthetic treatments. The estate has been organic since 1993 and now works around 50 hectares across vines and vegetables, with Luigi Di Tuccio continuing the family project. The wines are very much about local grapes, honest farming and proper drinking rather than unnecessary polish.
