Carambouille, 2023

If summer had a colour, it would be the cherry-bright red of Carambouille. A wild, unruly blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Mourvèdre, and a splash of Counoise, it hums with raspberry, strawberry laces and a tiny bit of spice. 

Made by a co-op of Rhône growers with a flair for minimal intervention, it’s hand-picked, native-fermented, unfiltered, and as unpretentious as it gets. Chill it lightly, set it down next to a plate of anything grilled, and bring a little mischief to the table.
