Les Bardets Blanc

Les Bardets Blanc

£18.00 GBP
Citrus, grapefruit peel and just enough grip, a bright, easy-going Gaillac light orange.

Bright, zesty and just textural enough to keep things interesting, this sits somewhere between a white and a very gentle orange. Think citrus, grapefruit peel and a little pithy snap, with plenty of energy on the palate and that lovely, mouth-watering shape you want from Gaillac. It’s lifted, slightly savoury, and very easy to imagine with salty snacks, roast chicken, or anything involving hard cheese and sunshine.

Maison Labastide is the oldest wine co-operative in the Tarn, founded in 1949, and now a key player in Gaillac. The co-op works across four local terroirs, from the Cordais Plateau to the terraces of the Left Bank, which gives them a broad, regionally rooted feel rather than a single-site story.
