Rich but resolutely dry, this is Sémillon doing what it does best, all waxy citrus, ripe pear and gentle honeyed depth, lifted by fresh acidity and a saline finish. It has real weight and texture without tipping into sweetness, making it quietly serious and very food-friendly.

Made in Barsac by Jean-Marie Guffens from vineyards better known for sweet wine. Picked early to retain freshness and fermented dry, this is a rare glimpse of Sémillon in a more savoury, mineral mode, proof that great terroir doesn’t need sugar to shine.
