Syrah 2023

Syrah from Umbria’s sandy, stony slopes is full of dark fruit, pepper, and light balsamic spice. The palate is taut and elegant with fresh acidity, fine tannins, and a savoury finish. Natural fermentation, short maceration, and ageing in large neutral oak keep the wine pure and lifted.

Andrea Pilar farms biodynamically in Umbria, working by hand and fermenting with indigenous yeasts. All wines are bottled unfiltered with minimal sulphur, expressing the texture and rhythm of the local terroir with quiet precision.
