Señorío de Librares Rioja Rosado

Bright, juicy and bloody summery, this is rosado with a bit more character than the usual pale pink wallpaper. Think strawberry, cherry and rosehip, with a little hay-and-herb savouriness and a clean mineral snap underneath. Fresh acidity keeps it exciting, while the short skin contact gives it just enough texture to feel like wine rather than poolside squash. 

Señorío de Librares is a small family winery in El Villar de Arnedo, now run by sisters Clara and Patricia Espinosa, who farm around 10 hectares organically and focus on Rioja’s native grapes rather than bought-in fruit or international varieties.
