Cuvee Laïs Rouge 2021

Cuvee Laïs Rouge 2021

£23.00 GBP
Pure southern fruit, shaped by schist and sea breeze.

A supple, Mediterranean red shaped by schist and sea air. A blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre, it shows ripe red fruit, dry herbs, and a mineral edge that feels distinctly Roussillon. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in concrete and old oak, it’s balanced, fine-boned, and quietly savoury.

Olivier Pithon farms biodynamically in Calce, a wind-swept village near Perpignan known for its stony soils and restless energy. His wines are grounded in farming first; expressive, unadorned, and built around the personality of his vines rather than the cellar.
