Cannonau Mamuthone
£36.00 GBP
Big, bold, and beautifully Sardinian dark cherry, wild herbs, dried flowers and that earthy, volcanic grip. Full-bodied with sweet tannins and a salty snap of freshness.
The name Mamuthone comes from the traditional Sardinian mask of Mamoiada, part pagan ritual, part local legend, and full of intensity.
Created by Giuseppe Sedilesu, a local winemaker passionate about indigenous Cannonau and ancient tradition. Most of his vines are old and grown at elevation. The grapes are wild-fermented, matured in large barrels and concrete, and bottled with zero filtration.
